Early Socialization & Preparation
Our puppies receive intentional early handling and bio-sensory stimulation throughout their time at Cotton Grove. Through gentle, positive interaction, we help puppies become comfortable with human touch, everyday handling, and new experiences as they grow.
Hands-On Handling: Puppies are gently handled from an early age, including their paws, bellies, heads, and bodies, helping them become comfortable being touched and cared for.
People-Focused Socialization: Regular positive interaction and plenty of affection help encourage the friendly, people-oriented temperament Cavaliers are known for.
Confidence Building: Early experiences are introduced in a positive, age-appropriate way to help puppies adjust more comfortably to handling, everyday activity, and new situations.
Collar & Leash Introduction: Puppies remain in our care until approximately 10 weeks of age, allowing us to begin age-appropriate collar and leash introduction before they go home.
