Our journey with Cavalier King Charles Spaniels began with a simple love for the breed's gentle, people-loving nature.
What started as a passion for these affectionate companions grew into a commitment to raising Cavaliers with attentive daily care, thoughtful socialization, and a strong focus on health and temperament.
Cotton Grove Cavaliers was built on that belief: that a well-bred, well-raised puppy shouldn't just look the part — they should grow into a steady, loving companion for whatever chapter of life you're in.
Meet Gerald & Mary Jane Miller
We're a Topeka, Indiana family with a shared love for Cavaliers and a hands-on approach to every litter we raise. From daily care to early socialization, our whole household is involved in giving each puppy the best possible start.
We understand that bringing home a puppy is a big decision — and we're honored to be part of that process for every family we work with.
Our Philosophy on Breeding
We intentionally keep our program small. Rather than producing as many litters as possible, we focus on quality over quantity — thoughtful pairings, attentive care, and giving every puppy the individual attention they need to thrive.

Health Testing & Thoughtful Breeding
OFA health screening and genetic testing are important parts of our breeding program, helping us make informed pairing decisions with the long-term health of our Cavaliers in mind.
Temperament Matters
We select for the sweet, affectionate temperament Cavaliers are known for, and reinforce it through early handling and socialization.
Small-Scale, Relationship-Based
We get to know our families, not just process applications. Our goal is a great match, not a quick sale.
How We Raise Our Puppies
From the moment they’re born, our puppies receive attentive, hands-on care in a designated puppy facility created with their comfort and wellbeing in mind.
They are introduced early to gentle handling, everyday sounds, new experiences, and regular interaction to help them grow into confident, well-adjusted companions. Our climate-controlled environment provides consistent comfort throughout every season. From feeding schedules and daily care to socialization and early enrichment, each stage of development is approached thoughtfully and with intention.
